Getting There
Our wedding venue, The White Crow, is located on the outskirts of Banner Elk, NC. Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, & Boone are the three largest towns in the vicinity of the White Crow.

The closest major airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). It is about a 2 hour drive from the airport to Banner Elk, NC. Tri-Cities Airport (TRI) is about an hour drive from Banner Elk. A rental car will be necessary for those who fly.

We encourage everyone who knows they will be attending to book your travel, car rentals, and lodging as soon as possible!
Lodging Recommendations
Boone is home to Appalachian State University. Due to the area's relationship with the university and the timing of our event, lodging is already booking up!

When choosing a lodging location, please keep in mind that there is limited parking available at The White Crow (our venue). We will be providing transportation from two central locations in the area, one in Boone and one in Banner Elk:
We strongly encourage our guests to take advantage of the shuttles so as to fully enjoy the party. If you must drive to the venue, we ask that you carpool as much as humanly possible.
Short Term Rentals - Airbnb & VRBO

Our contacts in the area overwhelmingly recommend booking a short term rental (STR) such as Airbnb or VRBO over a hotel for better prices and more availability. You can also find a variety of other condo and cabin rentals as the Western NC mountains become a ski destination in the winter.
